Lake Texoma Catfish Guide

Come Experience What Lake Texoma Has To Offer

Lake Texoma Catfishing
Lake Texoma offers world-class blue catfishing during the cooler months of the year. The lake record for blue catfish is
121.5 lbs which was the world record for a short time after the fish was caught. This record is still the current Texas state record for blue catfish caught on rod and reel as well. I target these blue catfish from October through April on Lake Texoma. Typical fishing styles I use to target these blue catfish are either controlled drifting or anchor fishing. During the summer months, still offer catfishing trips, but I switch to channel catfish. I offer these trips from May through October on Lake Texoma. On these trips, you can expect fast-paced fishing using punch bait to target fish over baited holes. These trips are for beating the heat during the summer, filling the cooler with fish averaging 2 lbs to 5 lbs.

Lake Texoma Striper Fishing
Lake Texoma striper fishing draws people from all over the country to experience these hard-fighting fish. Lake Texoma provides the conditions for striper to reproduce naturally, resulting a massive population of striper in the lake. This also means that every striper in Lake Texoma was born here, so we see a wide range of sizes caught throughout year. I offer trips for these fish all year long, giving you plenty opportunities to get out on the water at a time that works best for you
Lake Texoma Smallmouth
Most people do not know that Texoma is an amazing smallmouth bass fishery. This lake is loaded with them, and the current lake record is just over 7lbs. I target these hard fighting fish using live bait on lighter tackle in the spring and fall. Pound for pound, there is not many fish that pull harder than smallmouth bass. These months are the best times to book one of these trips: March, April, May, early June, late October, November an
